SKRIBOL Privacy Policy

SKRIBOL is designed to be a simple, private notebook application.

Data collection

SKRIBOL does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with the developer.

The app does not require an account, login, email address, or registration.

SKRIBOL does not use advertising, analytics, tracking technologies, or third-party analytics SDKs.

Notes and drawings

Notebooks, pages, handwritten notes, drawings, folders, pen settings, and other app content are stored locally on the user’s device.

The developer does not have access to this content.

Backup and import

SKRIBOL allows users to create backup files of their notebooks and import compatible backup files.

Backup files are created locally on the device.

If the user chooses to share, save, upload, or transfer a backup using services provided by iOS or third-party applications, the handling of that file is subject to the privacy practices of the service selected by the user.

SKRIBOL does not automatically upload backup files to any server.

PDF export

SKRIBOL allows users to export notebook pages as PDF files.

PDF files are generated locally on the device.

The user may then choose where to save or share the PDF using the standard iOS sharing features. SKRIBOL does not automatically transmit exported PDFs to the developer or to any external service.

Internet access

SKRIBOL does not require an internet connection for its core notebook and writing functions.

The app may provide links to external websites, such as the developer’s website or this Privacy Policy. Opening those links is handled by the user’s browser and may be subject to the privacy policy of the destination website.

Data retention and deletion

Because SKRIBOL does not collect user data on developer-operated servers, the developer does not retain user notebooks, drawings, or other app content.

Users can delete notebooks and pages directly within the app.

Deleting the app from the device may also remove locally stored app data, subject to the behavior of iOS and any backups independently maintained by the user.

Backup files or exported PDFs saved outside SKRIBOL must be deleted by the user from the location or service where they were stored.

Children’s privacy

SKRIBOL does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults.

The app does not contain advertising, social networking features, or user tracking.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if SKRIBOL’s features or data practices change.

Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
